There’s one question we get asked a lot: when is Magic Town coming to iPhone? The more you asked, the more we hurried, and so we’re pleased to announce a brand new experience from the same talented team of storytellers who created the iPad version – our iPhone app Magic Town Stories.
Available for iPhone and iPod Touch, Magic Town Stories takes the amazing stories at the heart of Magic Town and delivers them in an iPhone-sized bookshelf format. All the same stories, the same professional voice acting and the same beautiful animated illustrations, but now optimised for a smaller screen. Your child’s favourite stories are now more portable than ever!

Goblins, ghosts and ghouls, oh my! The costume shops are full and (apparently) the graveyards are empty, so it must be the end of October again, and time for Halloween.
It’s Halloween in Magic Town too, so we’ve picked out our spookiest stories for you! Grab a torch, grab your iPad, cuddle up under a duvet and get ready for monsters, witches, and very smelly socks…

3… 2…1… blast off! After months of preparation, Magic Town has launched in Beta. The first virtual world based on picture books and stories for young children is live!
Right now you can register for Magic Town using your Facebook login. Registering by email will be coming soon, as will lots of other features, such as adding profiles for more than one child, selecting the character houses and stories they see, and getting personalised reports about how your child uses Magic Town. Not too far down the road, you will also be able to use Magic Town on your iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.
If you register now, you’ll be able to create a child profile and dive into Magic Town. After signing in, your child will meet Magic Town’s guide Max and Louis the Storyteller who will present a new story every day. As your child visits Magic Town, he or she will see new characters’ houses pop up across the landscape. These houses hold the stories and accompanying games.
Everyone will have temporary access to a free story every day, as well as to the houses where Aesop’s fables and Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tales live. But… if you subscribe, you’ll be able to keep the free story each day plus get full access to all of the stories in Magic Town.
So sign in to Magic Town. Visit character’s houses. Explore stories. And please let us know what you and your children think by contacting us at email@example.com. We’d look forward to hearing from you.
See you soon in Magic Town… Where Stories Live.
