Wibbly Pig Joins Magic Town

We’ve got some exciting news in Magic Town today. Wibbly Pig will soon join the rest of the Magic Town gang!

We’ve partnered with BBC Worldwide to include Wibbly Pig, the beloved cartoon and book character, by Mick Inkpen. There will be Livebooks and games. Lots of fun for kids! For more details, read the press release.

And there’s no limit to where Wibbly Pig’s adventures will lead. Sometimes he travels to a castle to find giants; flies on a balloon journey or takes a trip on a cloud. In Magic Town, Wibbly Pig will share his adventures with his friends Big Pig, the Pig Twins, Scruffy Pig, Pig Ears, Tiny Pig, Aunt Larlie and Spotty Pig.

So stay tuned for news about Wibbly Pig’s big debut, alongside Elmer, Winnie the Witch, Little Red Riding Rood, the Superfairies, Sir Charlie Stinky Socks, and Aliens Love Underpants… just to name a few!

New books available in Magic Town!

Today Magic Town welcomes the arrival of nine new Livebooks that add to the ever-growing collection of fantastic stories for you and your children to explore. The new residents in Magic Town include Can’t Catch Me from the incredible Michael Foreman, The Conquerors by the world famous creator of Elmer, David McKee, and the timeless fairy tale, Cinderella.

While the new Livebooks take their place in Magic Town you will be unable to visit the town via either your iPad or online. Ensuring the new Livebooks are comfortable and happy with their new home will take no longer than two hours and we apologise for any problems caused.

Important message for iPad users:

If you currently access the Magic Town app on your iPad, when you return to Magic Town after the update of new Livebooks you may find your Library is temporarily empty. Please don’t panic, the Livebooks you have previously downloaded will automatically re-download.
