In Magic Town you get a new story to read every day, absolutely free! These stories are available for one day only, so we publish our Story of the Day schedule here every Monday so that you never miss one.
Welcome to another week in Magic Town! As usual we’ve got some great stories to share, all free. Each story is free for one day only, and after that it disappears, so read on to see what’s coming up this week and be sure to login to Magic Town when your favourite story is available!
Today we have Thumbelina, the classic tale of a very small person in a very big world. We’re sure someone you know can relate!
We’ve got even more classic stories for your young reader this week, all retold in our unique style, with beautiful original animation, voice narration and interactivity to make the experience new again for parents and children alike. On Tuesday there’s Aesop’s fable The Boy Who Cried Wolf, Hansel & Gretel on Thursday and Sleeping Beauty on Sunday.
On Wednesday join Momo the Monkey as he takes a bad fall. He spends most of his time annoying the other animals in the jungle, so who’s going to help him when he needs medical attention?
Enter the pungent world of Sir Charlie Stinky Socks on Friday with Sir Charlie Stinky Socks and the Really Frightful Night. There’s a princess in a tower that needs Sir Charlie’s help, so off he goes to fight ghouls, ghosts and a dark danger in a cellar, all to retrieve the princess’ teddy bear. What a little gentleman!
We normally hear birds singing in the morning and (for the most part) think they sound nice. That is, until you read Igor, the Bird Who Couldn’t Sing. Igor wants to sing with all the other birds, but, as they tell him, he can’t sing in tune or in rhythm. Poor Igor goes off to the desert to sing where no one can hear him, and he meets a friend who loves his singing just the way it is.
